Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the November 14, 2013 Meeting
Present: Mayor Driscoll, William P. Goreham, Raymond Vaillancourt, Thaddeus Buczko and Sumner Jones
The meeting was called to order at 5:30P.M.
The City of Salem forwarded a check for the Perpetual Care Fund in the amount of $67,250. This was for an accumulation of funds secured but not forwarded to the Trust Fund account. This will be deposited and added to the Perpetual Care line item.
The Council on Aging submitted a request for medication expense reimbursement for $749.13. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the funds from the Endicott Fund. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously.
The Council on Aging submitted a request to assist a resident with moving expenses.
Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $828.00 for moving expenses from the Discretionary Funds. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
A statement was received from Deschamps Printing for the Read Fund picnic tickets.
The amount was $332.00 and would be paid from the Picnic Funds. The clerk will check to see if this was already paid.
The Board received a statement for $148.00 for the Post Office Box rent.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to pay the statement from the Administration Fund. The motion was seconded by Sumner Jones and voted unanimously.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 10, 2013 meeting. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
The Clerk will invite the Eastern Bank Advisors to attend the December or January meeting for a report out on funds.
The interest earned on the Read ($992.19) and Nichols ($269.36) Library Funds will be forwarded to the Salem Public Library for the purchase of books.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:56P.M.
