Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the November 8, 2012 Meeting
Present: William P. Goreham, Thaddeus Buzcko and Sumner Jones
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor’s Office, City Hall.
The Board welcomed their new member, Sumner Jones. Mr. Jones was confirmed by the City Council at their October meeting. His term will expire on April 1, 2020.
William P. Goreham distributed the Fourth Quarter Report containing financial information through September 30, 2012. The report was accepted by the Board.
The Board received a statement from Genghis Salem for food supplied at the Read Fund Picnic. Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approved $97.50 from the Read Picnic fund for reimbursement. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
Jen Reardon, representing the Bookholtz Fund for disabled restaurant workers. requested a check for $500. This fund is held by the Board on behalf of restaurant group. The group makes all the decisions for dispersements. Thaddeus Buczko made motion to approve the request for funds. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
The Clerk received a statement for Post Office Box rental. The Board agreed to pay $144.00 for the annual fee. This will allocated from Administration Fund.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for medication reimbursement on behalf of elderly Salem residents. Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $1,136.49 from the Endicott Fund for payment. The motion was seconded by Sumner Jones and voted unanimously.
A thank you note was received from Joanne Scott of the Boys and Girls Club of Salem. They are very appreciative of the support for their robotics program.
Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 11, 2012 meeting. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
Arden Dore of the Children’s Friend and Family Services requested that the Board
put a stop payment on their 8/17/12 check ($2,500.00) as it has been lost. We will reissue another check for them.

The Eastern Bank Investment Advisors will be reviewing the Trust Fund Portfolio at the December 13, 2012 meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
