Minutes of the April 8, 2010 Meeting
Present: Mayor Driscoll, Robert Lutts, Raymond Vaillancourt
Thaddeus Buczko and William P. Goreham
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Driscoll at 5:30 P.M.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 11, 2010 meeting. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimous.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted requests for medication expense reimbursement for $868.00. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the expense from the Endicott Fund. The motion was seconded by Robert Lutts and voted unanimously.
The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for a resident moving to Pioneer Terrace. The Housing Dept. does not provide a refrigerator for the unit. The resident cannot afford one. The Board reviewed the request and discussed options for purchasing a refrigerator. The Clerk will review this with the agency. If all avenues have been exhausted then the Board agreed to purchase the refrigerator from Tri City Sales ($557.00). Robert Lutts made a motion to approve the purchase from the Marston Fund. The motion was seconded by Raymond Vaillancourt and voted unanimously.
Robert Hayes submitted a request for assistance with the Annual Willow Concerts.
Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve $1,800.00 from the Browne Fund as part of the FY2011 Large Grants with the dispersement occurring July 1, 2010.
The motion was seconded by Robert Lutts and voted unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
