- Assignment of tasks and subcommittees to address:
- Educating the public about proposed Winter Island wind project
- Revisions to City wind ordinance
- A progress report to City Council
- Development of a Climate Plan
- Weatherization program development
- Discussion of upcoming “mid-course correction” meeting at state level to address potential shortcomings in mandated utility efficiency programs
- Develop comment/ recommendations to Historic Commission re: draft guidelines for solar installations in historic districts; draft guidelines may be put to vote on 9/15, ahead of the RETF meeting. Jane Guy, City of Salem Historic Commission liaison will ask Commission whether or not they would like RETF comments
