Meeting: Salem Licensing Board held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 4:00 pm in the third floor conference room, 120 Washington Street. Present were Members: Robert St. Pierre, Chairman, John Casey and Melissa Pagliaro,
        
Approved: Application for All Alcohol Liquor License granted through Homerule Petition. Applicant: New Boston Ventures, LLC and a Transfer of the same License to CAS Restaurant, Inc. at 63 Federal Street.

Attorney Correnti was present and said he represents both parties.

He said the Homerule was voted on by Council and approved by ht e Governor. He said there are two matters today.

The first is for New Boston Ventures to apply for the license granted through Homerule. He said the project has been under construction and is just about complete. The second matter is to transfer the license to CAS.

Attorney Correnti said that Dave Goldman and Jonathan Parks from New Boston Ventures, LLC were present and Shane Andruskevicz and Mr. Santos from CAS were present.

Mr. St. Pierre suggested that one matter at a time be approved.

Attorney Correnti said that the application for New Boston Ventures Lists Jonathan Parks as Manager. He said that the space is 3,000 sq. ft. of the lower level of the building. He said that the restaurant seats 70 people and the bar seats 17 and will also include a patio for 60 seats.

Mr. Casey motioned to approve the application for New Boston Ventures, LLC for a C/V/ license with an All Alcohol License.

Mr. St. Pierre seconded. All in favor. Motion carries.

Attorney Correnti said that the second piece was to transfer the All Alcohol Liquor license from New Boston Ventures, LLC to CAS Restaurant Group d/b/a Great Escape. He said that Mr. Santos is President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer and will be listed as the Manager on the license.

Mr. St. Pierre told Attorney Correnti that a floor plan is required.

Mr. Casey asked about the hours.

Mr. Andruskevicz said the hours would be from 11am until 1am, 7 days a week.

Mr. Casey motioned to approve the transfer of a C/V and 7 day All Alcohol License to CAS Restaurant Group pending the receipt of a menu and the routing slip being signed.

Mr. St. Pierre seconded. All in favor. Motion carries.

Mr. Casey said that the entertainment license application before them asked for 5 TV’s, 1 radio, jukebox, music through an IPOD and live entertainment up to 5 pieces.

Mr. Casey motioned to approve.
