A Special Meeting of the City Council was held in the Bentley School Cafetorium on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 8:00 P.M. for the purpose of authorizing the Mayor to execute and submit an application of a Section 108 HUD Loan for the construction of a new Community Life Center at the former St. Joseph’s Church property located on Lafayette Street. Notice of this meeting was posted on February 1, 2007 at 6:36 P.M.
Due to the length of the previous meeting of the Committee of the Whole the meeting started at 10:50 P.M.
All Councillors were present.
Councillor Matthew Veno presided.
Councillor Veno moved to dispense with the reading of the record of the previous meeting. It was so voted.
Councillor Prevey requested more time to study the proposal and to delay the vote.
The Committee of the Whole meeting was rescheduled for February 28, 2007 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers.
On the motion of Councillor O’Leary the meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M.
