APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS

Held from the last meeting the Mayor’s appt. of Paul Marquis to the Renewable Energy Task Force with a term to expire December 1, 2009.


Mayor’s reappt. of Annie Harris to serve as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals with a term to expire June 1, 2012.



The Mayor’s reappt. of Antonio L. Vieira to serve as a Constable with a term to expire June 1, 2010.

        


COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR


ORDER to accept a donation of $7,144.68 from the District Attorney for the Essex County Summer Camp Program.



ORDER to accept a donation of $5,000.00 from the Friends of Forest River Park, for new playground at Forest River Park.



ORDER to accept a donation of $5,000.00 from Bartlett & Steadman Development Corp., for a new playground at Dibiasi Park.



ORDER to accept a donation of $3,500.00 from the City of Peabody to fund the Essex County Summer Camp program.



Order to authorize Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc., Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust, Kennedy Development Group Inc. and the City of Salem to exchange a parcel of land to construct a new water tower off Highland Avenue.
