ORDINANCE: amending Chapter 2 Section 2-271 City Council, Compensation of members; additional compensation for president be amended as follows:
The members of the City Council shall receive an annual salary equal to $10,000. Beginning on January 1, 2016 members of the City Council shall receive an annual salary equal to $12,000. The president of the City Council shall receive an additional $500.00 per annum. Any and all future increases to City Council compensation shall not take effect until the first of January after a regularly scheduled municipal general election.
