Meeting Minutes—July 27 and September 14, 2006

Public Hearing-— Request for Determination of Applicability— BioEngineering Group 18 Commercial Ave Salem, MA. The purpose of this hearing is for a determination of work related to the construction of a handicap ramp, stair well, and a rain garden in front of the existing commercial building located within a Riverfront Area at 18 Commercial Street.  

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-425—Massachusetts Electric Company, d.b.a National Grid, 55 Bearfoot Road, Northborough, MA 01532.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the removal, replacement, and addition of equipment within the existing substation yard and the installation of approximately 250 linear feet of buried duct bank within a Riverfront Area, Buffer Zone to a Costal Bank, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage at 25 Peabody Street.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-424—David Jalbert, 75 North Street, Salem, MA.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the addition to an existing building located within a Riverfront Area, Buffer Zone to a Coastal Bank, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage at 75 North Street.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of Intent—DEP #64-427—Neptune LNG, LLC, One Liberty Square, 10th floor, Boston, MA  02109.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the construction of an underwater, buried gas transmission pipeline in association with its proposed Deepwater Port, located offshore in Massachusetts Bay.

Continuation of Public Hearing —Notice of Intent— DEP #64-432 Patricia Trap of the National Park Service, 174 Derby Street, Salem, MA  01970.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the construction of a 2 ½ story building and a wooden apron located on a coastal bank, in Land Under the Ocean, and within a buffer zone to a coastal beach, on Derby Wharf at 174 Derby Street.  

Continuation of Public Hearing —Notice of Intent—DEP #64-431—Darren and Michelle Ambler, 13 Pyburn Avenue, Salem, MA  01970.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the construction of a single family house, associated utilities, a driveway, and reconstruction of an existing rock slope located within a buffer zone to BVW at 25 Cloverdale Avenue.

Continuation of Public Hearing—Notice of IntentDEP #64-426— A & H Auto Exchange Inc., 15 Robinson Road, Salem, MA.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the construction of stormwater control structures located within a buffer zone to an inland bank and BVW and culvert a portion of an intermittent stream, pursuant to a DEP Consent Order, at 15 Robinson Road.

Public Hearing— Notice of Intent — Town and Country Homes 532 Lowell Street Peabody, MA 01960.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the proposed construction of a 37-lot sub division and four stormwater management facilities associated with the subdivision off Clark Avenue

Public Hearing— Request for an Amendment to an Existing Order— DEP #64-360— 7 Laurier Road Salem, MA 01970.  The purpose of the hearing is to discuss amendments to a previously approved Order of Conditions (DEP # 64-360) regarding the replication and restoration of wetlands within a bordering vegetative wetland and an intermittent stream and the cleaning of a 24 inch drain line at 7 Laurier Road.
