- Complete Streets Working Group – Report from February 5th meeting - topics and discussion
- Canal St. Bike Path Extension – MassDOT has submitted 25% design plans to the Engineering department for review. The plans have been shared with the Complete Streets Working Group. Discussion of the SBAC’s involvement with commenting on the plans and providing recommendations for changes to access points and integration into existing bicycle accommodations at both the start and finish of the new extension.
- Bike Circulation Master Plan – John Pelletier of MassInMotion and Jeff Elie, City Staff Planner, attended strategy and scope of work meeting with MAPC to discuss how the Master Plan update would proceed, specifically with MAPC’s contribution to the plan. Fay Spofford & Thorndike will be providing engineering analysis to the Master Plan update.
- Discussion of new member for committee – Tracy Ware, Salem State professor and Salem resident has submitted a letter of inquiry to join the committee.
- New logo discussion – Since the name of the Committee has changed, the Committee will need to either redesign the old logo to work with the new name or completely redesign the logo
