Meeting opened at 6:30. Attending: Mike Sullivan, Doug Briggs, Mark O’Clair, Michele Van Reet
Visitors: Ms. Sheila Dibb (Select Board), Ken Dubovick & John Miller (Rutland Little League Baseball)
- Review and approve past minutes –
- 8/26/2015 Sullivan motioned to approve as amended. Briggs seconded. Unanimously approved.
- 9/16/2015 Sullivan motioned to approve. O’Clair seconded. Unanimously approved.
- 10/13/2015 Briggs motioned to approve as amended. O’Clair seconded. Unanimously approved.
- 10/27/2015 Briggs motioned to approve as amended. O’Clair seconded. Unanimously approved.
- 11/6/2015 Briggs motioned to approve as amended. O’Clair seconded. Unanimously approved.
Dubovick & Miller, representing Rutland Little League, want to install baseball and soccer fields close together to share lighting. We need a plan for the layout.
Sullivan is still not sure about our liability on the property. A motion was made (Van Reet) and seconded (Briggs) to conditionally approve clearing for trails contingent upon confirmation of coverage by MIIA and confirmation that school groups are covered by school insurance. We authorize Chairman Sullivan to notify Chris Stark upon confirmation. Unanimously approved.
PUBLIC HEARING posted for 3/24/2016 at 7PM. It has been determined that abutters do not need to be notified.
- Michele expressed concern about returning the deposit to Barton. Sullivan felt it was appropriate action to keep the door open with Barton if they choose to try again.
