Public Hearing continuation– Lussier application for a Special Permit for Mixed Use Property in the Town Center District at 211 Main Street
Opened: 8:36pm
The initial public hearing was held 9/12/17. The abutters had not been properly notified. The hearing was closed. The hearing was reposted and new notices went out to the abutters for a 10/10/17 hearing. On 10/10/17 there was not a super majority so the hearing was continued to 11/14/17. Tim was sent a copy of the plans electronically. Jason Dubuis presented the changes to the plans. One building was turned to face Main Street as requested. The overflow parking lot was moved so that lighting will not affect the abutters. A drainage swale goes around the building and feeds into a catch basin. Eileen Shanahan asked if there is a catch basin on the southeast corner. There is not. Jason explained that with this design there is less run off than is currently there in that location. Quinn
needs to look at the storm water management plan. Eileen asked about the down spouts. Lussier said he will angle them away from her property. Tim thought we should get the opinion of public safety on the plans. Jeff questioned if all the parking spaces were necessary. There was discussion about how to position the buildings. Senecal talked about the setback of the buildings. Tim questioned the layout and the decks on the condos. It appears the decks are going into the parking area. Jeff suggested the buildings get redrawn. Lussier said they will redesign. They will bring in the plans at the next meeting. After the board reviews the plans it will be sent to Quinn and to public safety.
Shawn made a motion to continue the public hearing on 11/28/17 at 7:30pm. Marilyn 2nd. Roll call vote was taken. Norm Anderson – aye, Marilyn Sidoti – aye, Tim Nahrwold – aye, Shawn Moore – aye, Dick Williams – aye.
