Present: Norman Anderson, Marilyn Sidoti, Tim Nahrwold, Addison Redfield
Excused: Dick Williams
Guest: Mr. Mark Elbag, Jr.
Hearing opened at 7:15pm.
Attorney Cranston’s letter (received tonight) responding to Board questions was reviewed.
Chairman informed Mr. Elbag that he spoke with DPW, Police and Fire Chief
regarding the road. All were not in favor of any houses being built with the present road condition. The Board questioned whether it would be right for them to create a situation that could potentially become worse. Discussion ensued to include applicant upgrading the road first then returning with application for special permit.
Board concerns:
- Road is a private way but when looking at the 2nd page of Attorney Cranston’s letter, it states that it has to provide adequate access.
- Board will wait until the next meeting as Dick Williams will be present to vote.
and Mr. Elbag will send a letter (to be put with the plan) to the Board assuring a good gravel base will be put in.
Addison moved to close the hearing, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
