RUTLAND PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
October 9, 2012

Present: Norman Anderson, chairman; Richard Williams; Addison Redfield, Marilyn Sidoti

- Minutes of 9/25/12: Dick moved to accept, with corrections, Marilyn 2nd, all in favor.
Note: Chair stated that he has written a cash disbursement in the amount of $1,474.21 to Mr. Jim Soucy on money owed to him (Morris Lane, Fieldstone Estates).
- Bear Hill Subdivision: Mr. Gary Kellaher, DPW, has spoken with DOT and is in the process of setting up a date to meet with Mohammed (DOT), Quinn Engineering and Gary. Some people have walked the site and looked at the storm water infiltrator which is on private property. Some progress is being made. Map was reviewed to see if it showed the infiltrator. Sheet 11 was referenced. Discussion ensued.
- Solar Bylaw: Chair referenced Sally Hayden’s letter stating that the Attorney General’s office has approved the Solar Bylaw. However, they did have comments for the Board to review. Attorney Cranston was cc’d on this letter as well.
- Future meetings/Housekeeping :
Chairman mentioned that given the status of the economy he anticipates pretty quiet future meetings in the foreseeable future. He suggested this would be a good time to work on some organization of the office to include archiving ANR files after1980, flat files, etc. Everyone agreed.
Dick suggested the Board hold an administrative meeting sometime in the fall or winter to discuss items referred to in the previous meeting minutes.
- Highlands of Brunelle West:
Devereaux School was referenced. Board thinks it would be a good idea to find another way out for emergency situations. Discussed ensued.
Meeting recessed for public hearing continuation on Sunnyhill Estates with Mark Israel.
Meeting reconvened at 8:05pm
- Public hearing on Sunnyhill was continued to 1/15/2013 at 7:00pm.
Marilyn motioned that Chairman send a letter to the Selectboard, Dick 2nd, all in favor.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:17pm.
Addison motioned, Dick, all in favor.
