Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, June 19th, 2019
- Present: Carrie Mota, Tina Greenfield, Deb Barakian, Ben Frost, Barbara Campbell, Mark Campbell,Cindy Purcell, John Fitzgerald, Zack Palmer, Elise Milliken, Jeremy Hayden,Tracey Sasseville, Jeff Stillings, Paul Mattson, Ruth Hutchins,
- Absent: Melissa Puliafico, Beth Puize, Frank Jancura
- Meeting called to order: 7:00 p.m.
- Schedule of event - Reviewed. Carrie announced that the Bon Fire will have a live band. Midnight Riders.
- Zack Palmer- Honey Farms low on pamphlets. Carrie gave him a stack to bring to the store
- Table finances - Missy Puliafico absent
- Suggestion to use Facebook raise money with an option to donate
- We purchase three buckets to collect donations during the events. Finn Puize can collect. Follow-up with Beth to see what events he will be at and will he have a couple other friends with him. Tina Greenfiled and Carrie Mota’s kids could also help out with the donation buckets if needed.
- Mark Campbell- Asked Will the Trailer with Banners be at the front. Make sure there is a sheet with all of the Sponsors with Banners so they can call out the names when the trailer goes by and also during any down time he will announce again.
- Frame for banners still needs to be built. Zacl Palmer suggested a canoe multi holder would make a good stand
- Carrie Mota talked about assignments for the parade.
- Frank Jancura and Jeremy Hayden will be at Naquag
- Missy Puliafico, Jen Deperio and Tracey Sasseville will be at CTMS,
- Carrie Mota will be at the registration table
- Beth Puize will be at corner of Main and Maple to keep parade moving/ avoid large gaps.
- Ben Frost announced final numbers for yard sale-225 paid participants, Net Profit is $4,205.00. Expenses of the yard sale were donated.
- Jeff Stillings asked if we needed the Board of Selectmen to judge the doll carriage parade. Carrie Mota said he should contact Corinna Frohock.
- Paul Mattson announced that the parade will be filmed and aired 3-4 days after the fourth on the Rutland Cable channel and Youtube.
- Mark Campbell suggested we find out who the Boy Scout is who is working on the monument give him some recognition during the parade- Liam Deardon??
- Ruth Hutchins- Rutland Congregational Church may or may not sell Sodas and Waters , but if she can get help they would like to walk Memorial Field during the Fireworks and sell there too.
- Elise Milliken - If the cub scouts can get enough volunteers they would like to sell water and soda down by the pool
- John Fitzgerald there is a Baseball tournament at March Field on the 29th. Could cause problems with parking, May want to announce on facebook to park in the schools lot. St Patricks will be blocked off.
- Tina Greenfield created invitations for sports teams at Wachusett who won championships. She will print and give to Barbara Campbell
- Elise Milliken- Can we announce events on the Town sign. Carrie Mota will look into it.
