Discussions:
At the May 7th meeting, some of the residents of Finn Park Rd. were in attendance to express their concerns about the washout of the road and the impact from the solar farm. As a follow up, Joe reached out to Nexamp to schedule a visit with the residents. On May 15th, Allen Clapp from Nexamp met with Joe and the residents at Finn Park Rd. Prior to the meeting, Joe walked the solar farm property and found that the detention basins are working as designed with minimal flow and no evidence of a washout toward Finn Park. Nexamp is not accepting fault, but in an effort to be good neighbors, they have agreed to have their engineers verify that everything is working as designed. If minimal modifications are needed to help the situation, Nexamp is amenable to that. Joe will wait to
hear back from them and will pass the info along to the residents.
National Grid is taking out a beaver dam on Bushy Lane. The efforts were approved and permitted by the Board of Health and the beavers will be safely relocated.
Respectfully Submitted,
Tomeca Murphy, Secretary
