Discussions
Treasure Valley Solar Project
The detention basin is still there. They kept the basin because of the extra run off. Joe told them that there has been a comment about the grass between the panels and Allan said he will take to Sean and let him know we have concerns about the grass not taking.
Treasure Valley Solar Project 2
Eric Las presented a quick introduction to the project. The Notice of Intent was filed today and the hearing will be on July 7, 2015 at 7:15 PM. The access road will be across from Joanna Drive. There is a wetland in the center. The access road will be a gravel road. There will be a fence with a gate at the entrance and a 7 foot high chain link fence around the whole project. No alteration or fill of actual wetlands will happen. Trees will be cut along the edge of the wetland but the stumps will be left. One detention basin is proposed for the site. Drainage goes across the road and onto the property. They are thinking of a manhole with sump to mitigate that. DPW is on board with this. Plantings on the eastern and northern side of the project. There will be very
little grading and slopes from North to South. No major earth work will be done and no grubbing. It may be necessary to trim the older trees at the northern end of the wetland. There will be an arborist looking at the area. Shawn asked about the pipe and sump pump and wanted to know where the water from the pipe will go. The pipe will go to the detention basin. Scott asked what anchoring system they will be using – they will be using screws.
