Old Business:
- Adam gave a presentation explaining why we (CAC) should switch to another format of network access. Adam said that we would realize much higher speed on outgoing as well as incoming business. The total cost to CAC would be around $2400.00 which is same as we are paying now for a less than adequate service. Ray moved to implement Adam’s proposal; Kathy 2nd—unanimous.
- Margaret presented a spread sheet that breaks down costs to the Library for all manner of yearly expenses along with a breakout portion that the CAC should be responsible. Ray moved to pay the June Library Electric bill, which should not total more than about $*00.00. this would represent a full re-imbursement for any/all power used for the past 3 years while construction was going on. Kathy 2nd—unanimous.
- It was decided that the chairs for Selectmen’s desk are too low. Ray and/or Paul will visit the used furniture show room to see what might be available.
- The question of a backdrop behind Selectmen’s desk was decided by having Addison and Brenda check into alternatives.
New Business:
- John (jack) Bell was invited to our meeting to demonstrate his very new compact camera and many of its features. The committee decided that it would look into the possibility of getting one for outside events (where our large camera setup might not be advisable).
