Selectmen Skip Clark was also present.
Paul called the meeting to order at 6:42 p.m.
Brenda arrived at 7:30 p.m.
Minutes
Minutes of September 24th accepted as presented
Bills & Accounts
No treasurer’s report. Two bills from Rexel Electrical for Library materials wre presented and approved.
Old Business
Report on Contract Progress
Paul reported that the contract with Charter had been approved and signed by B.O.S. and sent along to Charter.
Addison reported on building material bids.
Addison reported that the no fee building permit had been issued.
Brian Lanko from Bay Path will secure the electrical permit.
Bay Path expects to begin construction around 10/20/14.
Bids Building & HVAC
Discussion on electrical panel, Addison will ask Bay Path Instructor Brian Lanko to add conduits by the electrical panel in the event of a future studio expansion.
A motion to award the HVAC contract to IJL Mechanical in the amount of $22,500 and to authorize the Chairman to sign the contract (Addison/Ray) passed 5/0. Addison will send thank you letters to other bidders.
Addison will separate the list of materials.
Program Director Job Description
Agreed to table until after the studio is built
New Business
Curtain & Town Seal
It was agreed that the Town Seal will go on the center of the studio desk. Skip will ask the Historical Sociey if they have one available.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. All were in favor. The next meeting will be held on November 5th.
