Present:        Paul Mattson, Addison Redfield, Kathy Clark, Ray Becker, & Brenda Savoie
        Selectmen Skip Clark was also present.

Paul called the meeting to order at 6:41 p.m.

Minutes - Minutes were not available; agreed to table until the next meeting.

Bills & Accounts

The current account balance is $73,770.91. A motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report (Brenda/ Ray) passed 5/0.

Old Business

Studio Project

  • Addison volunteered to be the Clerk of the Works for the studio project.
A motion to accept Addison’s offer to act as the Clerk of the Works for the Library Studio Project (Ray/ Paul) passed 5/0.

A motion to pay $5,000 in architect fees to Bill Senecal (Ray/Addison) passed 5/0.

  • Ray advised Paul to pursue the $200,000 contract amount with Charter and negotiate from there. He proposed accepting the $150,000 offered by Tom Cohan, plus $10,000 per year for 5 years. Paul will bring the contact before the Board of Selectmen and then to Town Counsel. The Committee agreed. Skip said it would be better to bring to Town Counsel first, then to the Board.
  • Paul asked the library to contact Charter directly regarding the WiFi.
  • A request will be made to have all permit fees waived.
  • Paul will look into Access Camera for new purchases. They appear to be preferred over the Camera Company, and have great customer service. He will research further.
New Business

  • The Committee reviewed the set of plans for the studio. It will need to be keyed in the same manner as the library; however it will be a separate lock. The Selectmen will be provided their own key.
  • After discussion on a table versus a podium for presenters, the Committee agreed to ask Bay Path to build a 4- foot table on wheels.
  • The Committee will need access to the control room, studio, office, and storage area.
  • The Town Clerk was granted shelving space under the stairs.
The meeting adjourned at 8:14 p.m. All were in favor. The next meeting will be held on August 13th.
