Present: Joseph R. Becker, Chairman; Michael S. Pantos, Vice-Chairman; Peter Letsky, Clerk; Leroy C. Clark and Sheila H. Dibb.
Chairman Becker opened the meeting at 6:30 pm
Mr. Becker began discussion on the Animal Control By-Law article on tonight’s warrant. Mr. Pantos moved to take “No Action” on this article. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous.
Discussion on Fire Department requests. Modify turnout gear to add three more sets of gear – total of 15 sets. Mr. Pantos moved to add three additional sets of turnout gear to the article. Ms. Dibb seconded. Vote unanimous.
Article on hose – no vote.
Article on flow testing – no vote. Clarified at $2,000.00.
Capital Improvement Committee recommends lease to purchase a skid steer for the DPW.
Capital Improvement Committee also recommends the siding on the town hall be added to the annual town meeting.
Ms. Dibb moved to allow wreath sales on the common by the boy scouts. Mr. Pantos seconded. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Pantos moved to waive the building permit fees for the Naquag Green project. Ms. Dibb seconded. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Pantos moved to appoint Nancy Nichols to the Conservation Commission per their recommendation. Mr. Letsky seconded. Vote unanimous.
