New Business:
Katelyn Wojnarowicz, Karen Fitzgerald and Julianne Kelly came before the Board to discuss the news that Princeton students will be attending Glenwood Elementary School for the coming school year and the possibility of the before and after school programs being available to them. Mrs. Wojnarowicz stated that she became aware of the situation from a newspaper article; no one from the schools or the school department had contacted her. She is licensed for 65 children and has the staff to accommodate that number, but has never had more than 50 children and that the program is for Rutland residents. She stated that she may be able to increase that number with the state. After lengthy discussion, once the Rutland number is known, Mr. Becker recommended setting a safe cap for Princeton students in case
Rutland has a need further into the school year. Mr. Becker would like to make the district aware of our limits and Mrs. Kelly will let the district know.
Mr. Pantos motioned to go back into executive session to continue previous conversation and to return to open session for adjournment purposes only. Mr. Clark seconded. Pantos aye, Clark aye, Letsky aye, Becker aye.
Mr. Pantos moved to adjourn. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Nancy M. Macaruso, Secretary
