Present:  Sheila H. Dibb – Chairman, Joseph R. Becker – Vice Chairman, Cherilyn A. Bulger, Michael S. Pantos – Clerk.

Also present:  Lyndon Nichols, Chairman – Finance Committee, Chuck Patterson - Finance Committee, Daniel Haynes – Town Accountant

Mr. Becker reviewed the revenue numbers and levy limit.  Tax rate with ballot override is $14.91.  Mr. Patterson questioned Dan Haynes, Town Accountant on new growth and new construction at $19,000,000.00.  Mr. Pantos compared a tax rate increase from $12.92 in 2010 to $14.91 in 2012.  Mr. Becker reviewed the budget for $416,631.34 shortfall at level funding.  Mr. Becker also reviewed the budget if the ballot questions failed.

Poll of folks on where to get the $110,000 shortfall – use of any stabilization fund (Joe no, Chuck no, Mike no, Lyndon no).  Review of where departments can be cut to get $110,000.00 – school no.  Suggestions for cuts on various line items (see attached) and service impact.

Mr. Becker moved to adjourn.  Mr. Pantos seconded.  Vote unanimous.  Meeting adjourned at 8:56 p.m.
