Meeting Minutes
June 15, 2010 at 6:30 pm
Community Hall Annex
Meeting opened at 6:45 pm
Present: Sheila H. Dibb, Chairman – Joseph R. Becker, Vice-Chairman – Leroy C. Clark, Michael S. Pantos arrived at 7 pm. Harry Johnson and Richard Travers from the Building Department and Norman Anderson, Richard Williams and Lester Grace from the Planning Board were in attendance.
Mrs. Dibb recapped the issues: complaints on enforcement of by-law and some questions of potential changes to the by-law. Mrs. Dibb and Mr. Becker discussed whether we need to look at interpretation of certain points.
Mr. Johnson explained that it is difficult to enforce signs that do not require a permit because you don’t always know they are there.
The wording in several sections was discussed as well as specific signs in town.
Mr. Pantos moved to refer the sign by-law back to the Planning Board and By-law subcommittee for review. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Pantos moved to adjourn. Mr. Clark seconded. Vote unanimous.
