New Business:
Solar Update – There is currently two solar projects that the Town of Rutland is working on and is working with the Solar Company to have a Land Lease and Pilot Agreement.
There is also two solar projects that homeowners are working with companies to lease their land and have solar fields.
Fauteaux Fire Abatement – The Board approved the Real Estate Abatement for the property on Irish Lane that had a fire.
FY2018 Statutory Exemption for reconsideration - The Board of Assessors decided to not approve a 2018 Statutory Exemption that was submitted after the FY2018 deadline. This decision was due to the fact that the MDM-1; a report that is submitted to the state for the reimbursement of the exemption approvals, has already been submitted by the Administrative Assessor and approved by the state. If any exemptions were to be approved after the submission from the Assessor’s Office then the Town would have to come up with the money for the exemptions.
Blair Abatement Update – Clealand Blair has filed with the ATB regarding the rest of the properties. These ATB filings will be looked at during the next meeting.
