Minutes
-Present: Peter Craine, Ronald Kent, Lynn Turcotte, Karen Greenwood, Norman Anderson,
Anita Carlson, Lindsey Demers
-The meeting was called to order by Chairman Craine at 1:05 p.m.
-Norman made a motion to accept the minutes from April 9, 2019 Anita seconded and all voted in favor, with changes.
-When all By-laws are completed there will be a Table of Contents in the beginning.
-Continued review of the Finance Committee By-Law with their duties
A. was narrowed down
1. removed the word unrestricted
On file we have any deletions/additions to this By-Law.
-Question and discussion followed as to what our “charge” is. We were asked, by the Select Board, to review all the general By-laws and have submitted the By-law By-laws for the annual town meeting May 11, 2019.
-We will need to have a clear vision as to what are the duties Select Board, Town Administrator (TA), Finance Committee (FA) and Town Moderator (TM) - who does what.
-At a previous meeting we worked on the Select Board By-law but can’t complete until we have the responsibilities of the TA, FA and TM finalized.
-Began discussion on the Accounting and Collecting By-law.
Should we separate the two into their own By-Law? Their responsibilities don’t overlap like they did in the past.
-Treasurer By-law

3. Audit? Move elsewhere
4. Duties
We ended the discussion here.
The next meeting will be April 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Library
Norman made a motion to adjourn, Ron seconded and all in favor to adjourn at 3:00 p.m.
