Board discussed site plan review (under Sect. V 1. (C). Bruce Jacobson was in with Steve and Heather Bukovsky, who have a proposed antique/consignment shop moving into space in the former auto museum/brick building at 194 Worcester Road on the Jacobson property. Present were the applicants  along with Bruce Jacobson. The applicants currently operate a similar shop of about 5,600 sq.ft. at 27 Main Street in Sterling called “Verbayna.”
The board asked about traffic and means of egress into the property. The current entrance is a driveway bracketed by a chain link fence. The board and applicants agreed on hours of operation, parking and the need to review/renew this site plan if the operation changes or expands in the future.
Board members asked Mr. Jacobson about removing, replacing or hiding the chain link fence, and he indicated he was considering making such changes but could not commit to anything immediate—or relative to this site plan review.
The board voted all in favor to approve the site plan review with conditions as noted and sign the document individually after it was completed. The Bukovskys plan on opening the shop sometime in early April under the name “Hunt & Gather Vintage Market & Curated Goods.”
