Worcester Road Village District (WRVD) PAC
Meeting May 24, 2012
Called to order @ 7:10
Present were Sean Conway, Joe Bellucci, Deb Cassidy, Phil Mighdoll, Jerry Gannelli
Discussed Phil’s draft recommendation document to Planning Board, focusing on boundaries.
For South district, boundaries set at PO Place, following Worcester Road south to Hickory Drive and keeping the existing business zone boundaries on either side of Worcester Road.
For North Village, concern was raised over development of parcel behind Redwood Drive. Concern also raised that land owners who were present for workshops were not present to hear these concerns raised now. It was agreed to keep the Village District to the existing business zone boundaries on either side of Worcester Road and to extend those boundaries to include the three parcels north of Redwood Drive on the east side and north approximately to MDC land on the west side.
Deb noted wording which described the south district and asked that it be included in description of the North Village. It was agreed that Phil would make the changes discussed and that Deb and Jerry would review same prior to their publication to the full PAC. Phil asked that the PAC be invited to a Planning Board meeting to be present when PAC recommendations were presented. Jerry agreed.
Minutes from 26-April and 10-May meetings were approved.
