Open Space Committee Meeting Minutes September 16, 2014
Meeting began at 7:42
Present: Kelton Burbank, Deb Cary, Kim Houde, Karen Rossow
Excused: Jim Samdahl, Phil Gryzb
Discussion of each person’s notes on the mapping and trails we have found for the Trail Around Princeton (TAP) we are currently developing. Deb put it all on one map on the wall to accommodate a better understanding of the areas under development. There are a lot of potential areas we can use. It is really coming together and we can research land owners and their intentions and hopes for their land. We are keeping a positive outlook and have already heard that one landowner is just waiting to be asked.
Monday, October 6th meeting with the Selectboard. Kelton sent mission statement and we will send a map that will highlight where we’re going and how we’re doing regarding the Trail Around Princeton. Kelton has developed a board of people from the community to oversee the process. The idea is that they will rally and help us realize the concept.
