Alex is awaiting pricing from Brenda of the Gravestone Girls for creating a partial casting of Daniel Parkhurst’s headstone (as a possible thank you gift for Barbara Charles and Bob Staples as well as a possible donation to the Historical Society) and will follow-up with Brenda again.

Town Common Guidelines

Discussion will continue next time with examples of guidelines from other towns which Matt has offered to pursue.

National Register Historic District for 73 and 83 Worcester Road

Joyce is working on a draft of a letter inviting the owners of 73 and 83 Worcester Road to list their properties on the National Register.

Revised House Plaque Program

The Commission discussed pursuing a possible workshop for do-it-yourself house research in addition to posting research instructions on the Commission’s website.  Joyce suggested communicating with the Princeton Historical Society as a way of enlisting workshop participants.

Next Meeting: Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall Annex.

Respectfully submitted, Alex Fiandaca
