Meeting minutes for 10/25/17
5:30pm at Town Hall Annex

Attending for the town: Edith Morgan (BOS), Nina Nazarian (Town Administrator) and Judy Dino (Advisory Committee)

Attending for Jones Whitsett Architects: Margo Jones, Helen Fantini, and George Dole

Meeting subject: Project Kickoff

Karen opened the meeting at 5:30 pm.

After introductions, Jones Whitsett Architects (JWA) reviewed several similar municipal projects with challenges similar to those faced by Princeton giving Helen Fantini and George Dole an opportunity to describe their involvement in the projects. JWA described their process for developing the master plan which includes 1) existing conditions assessment and program development, 2) develop scenarios, 3) options, and 4) final report and presentations. JWA was keen to understand “what else they need to know about Princeton.”

Next steps for JWA are 1) existing buildings condition assessment, 2) programming meetings with department heads, and 3) preparation for November review meeting. Karen and Nina will work with JWA to schedule the programming meetings. Committee input and data collection will be obtained using a written form.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:20.
