June 16, 2011
PRINCETON CENTER
MINUTES - JUNE 16, 2011

PRESENT; Gaile Rollins, Carl Lapoint, Louise Dix, Terry Thompson

The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted with two changes. The rents are going to be increased according to square footage and the name of Jackie was changed to Julie. They will be corrected and a copy sent to the Town Clerk.

There is still a problem with Diane. She hasn’t returned the extra keys. Gaile also gave her two new directional signs that can be used to give directions to her room.

The homeschoolers have not returned their keys and Gaile has asked for them to be returned.

The person (Terry) who was interested in renting the studio hasn’t given an answer to renting it or not. There is also another person with six children interested in renting  but wants to make sure her children are happy at Thomas Prince School before making a commitment.

The prisoners are coming for 5 days. Some of the things they are gong to do will include taking up the rug in the Arts Society Room, pulling out some trees, and painting the wall in the gym.

There is still one tenant who hasn’t paid rent for the months of April, May and now June.

The town paid for the oil tank to be topped off.

The ongoing problem with Frog Pond is the same as before the committee met with her at a special meeting. The problem with the keys, painting and two people (Jason and Julie) paying her have not been addressed. Louise suggested talking to John at the Town Hall regarding subletting and have Diane go there to talk about it.  Terry also suggested that Gaile or Louise also be there when the meeting takes place.  Carl suggested  another letter be sent saying eviction is possible because of not abiding by the rules. Carl agreed to write it.

There is a new air conditioner in the meeting room donated by a couple from Princeton.

The meeting was adjourned and the next meeting will be on July 21st.
