Discussion
- BBC members attending MLP meeting. Stan provided Matrix/Millennium MOU document to MLP and gave an overview.
- Stan provided overview of make-ready costs to the MLP Board. Total amount $1.4M
- Stan summarized the special town meeting / ballot vote process for borrowing the funds, use of short-term borrowing, and potential payment from MBI last-mile funds.
- Stan summarized Wired West meeting last Saturday including the discussion of funding distribution models being proposed for the member towns.
- Stan addressed the issue of timeline for the project and associated events, including potential info session on 10/29.
- Stan acting as BBC member made the request that the MLP recommend to the BOS to schedule a Town Meeting on 11/18 for the purpose of voting to borrow funds for make-ready.
- Ballot election could be scheduled for 12/9
- Neil Sulmasy motioned that the MLP members move to sign the MOU with a correction to section one. John L. gave a synopsis of the MOU prior to voting, document has already been signed by Matrix/Millennium. MLP voted unanimously to approve the MOU.
- Neil Sulmasy motioned that the MLP recommend to the BOS schedule a town meeting for 11/18, followed by ballot on 12/9. Unanimously Approved.
