Executive Session Minutes – SELECTBOARD
Executive Session 9:16 PM – In open meeting, board voted to go into Executive Session. Selectboard members present were Edith M., Karen C. and Richy B. with T.A. Nina N, only to adjourn.

Discussion began at 9:25 PM (i.e. once public meeting attendees had left the room and a short break).
Executive Session, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, §21: Exemption Two – To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel – Fire Chief
Nina explained the information provided to her by HR Counsel regarding the use of the Fire Chief’s vehicle for personal use by the Chief, specifically that use was not easily restricted and that there were tax considerations which the Fire Chief would have to be aware of. The Selectboard discussed the importance of the Fire Chief not relying on the town vehicle and owning/maintaining his own vehicle and using this vehicle from time to time. After some discussion, all agreed that Nina would ask Counsel how/if this restriction could be made in the contract.
10:10 PM Selectmen closed the executive session with Edith making a motion to adjourn, Richy seconded and in roll call vote they adjourned with Edith, Karen and Richy each saying “aye.”
