Town of Princeton, Mass., Selectboard Meeting Minutes
April 24, 2018 – 6:00 PM – Town Hall Annex
        Present:  Chair Richard Bisk, Edith Morgan w/ TA Nina Nazarian.  Jon Fudeman was absent.
        Facilities Steering Committee Chair Karen Cruise, Mary Jo Wojtusik, Larry Todd, Chris Conway, and Steve Mirick present. Judy Dino, Adv. Cmte. Liaison also present.

Executive Session 6:00 PM -- in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, §21:-- Jon moved and Edith seconded to go into executive session, and not return to regular session:  To consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body – Senior center space In roll call Edith voted “Aye,” Jon voted “Aye”, Richy voted “Aye”.

7:00 PM In roll call Edith voted “Aye,” Jon voted “Aye”, Richy voted “Aye” to exit executive session.

7:05 PM  Joint Meeting with Facilities Steering Committee – Discussion on the Bagg Hall stabilization article concerning hazardous materials. It was stated that the cost of dealing with hazardous materials has been estimated into the project cost. Karen asked if the Bagg Hall stabilization article could be completed without a ballot vote. Nina agreed to follow up on that question. Boards discussed the order of the articles and concluded that the three stabilization articles should be presented first, then the Public Safety Building Construction, and finally the Bagg Hall Renovation/Addition. There was discussion on whether or not to include the Bagg Hall Addition/Renovation project, and the FSC recommended keeping it on the warrant.

8:32 PM  Selectboard thanked the Facilities Steering Committee and moved to continue its meeting in the small room.

Cemetery Superintendent position – Nina explained that the position is ready for posting, now that the work has been contracted.

ACTION:  The S.B. voted all in favor to authorize Nina to post the Cemetery Superintendent position, as presented.
