Executive Session Minutes - Selectboard
Executive Session 11:55 am – In the open meeting, the board voted to go into Executive Session. Selectboard members present were Chair Richard Bisk, Karen Cruise and Edith Morgan
Executive Session, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, section 21: Exemption Two – to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for contract negotiations with non-union personnel, Interim Town Administrator.
Interim Town Administrator –
The Selectboard discussed Richard White’s request to be paid $2000/wk. They compared that to what was paid to the last interim TA and to what Rutland, Hubbardston, and Wenham paid recently to their interim TA’s.
Karen made a motion to enter into a contract with Richard White at $2000/wk for the position of Interim Town Administrator with a start-date to be determined and an end date to be left open. Edie seconded. All voted in favor in roll call with each member saying “aye”.
11:59 am – Selectmen closed the executive session with Edith making a motion to adjourn, Karen seconded and in roll call they voted to adjourn with Richy, Karen and Edith each saying “aye.”
