Joint meeting with Advisory Committee
6:00 PM~~Meeting called to order.
Joint Meeting with the Advisory Committee on FY20 Budget/Capital and ATM warrant (60 min. est.)
SB and AC walked through the general operating budget and the capital plan and discussed items that were of concern to the AC.
Bagg Hall Improvements – Ranking of Designers / Request of Fee Proposal(s) & Begin Contract Negotiations
A motion was made and seconded to accept the ranking of designers and RFQs and authorize the TA to begin contract negotiations with SSV. – all approved
Joint Meeting with Facilities Steering Committee Phase 2
Chair didn’t anticipate this joint meeting would take place but it occurred when 3 members of FSC2 joined the SB.
SB and FSC2 discussed which articles should appear on the warrant for ATM for a future public safety building. FSC2 believes that it is premature to ask for money for full design and construction documents at this point. Group agreed to stick with an article seeking funds for preliminary design documents.
Group discussed the need to share what they learned over the past months with residents, particularly with respect to the cost of building public safety buildings.
Interim TA Search Discussion (15 min. est.) – passed over
Discussion postponed until 4/11 meeting.
