Executive Session Minutes – SELECTBOARD
Executive Session 6:55 PM – In the open meeting, the board voted to go into Executive Session. Selectboard members present were Karen C. and Edith M. with T.A. Nina N. and Richy B. absent.
Executive Session
Executive Session, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, §21: Exemption Three – To conduct strategy with respect to litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Ms. Sandi Calcia’s Massachusetts Tort Claim pursuant to M.G.L. c.258, §4 - Trident Public Risk Solutions, the towns insurance carrier reached agreement with Ms. Sandi Calcia and her counsel, regarding the Tort Claim pursuant to M.G.L. c. 258, §4 for settlement of $40,000. Nina asked the Selectboard to vote to authorize her to sign the release and settlement agreement.
ACTION: The Selectboard voted in a roll call vote, Edith said “Aye” and Karen said “Aye,” to agree to authorize Nina to sign the release and settlement agreement on behalf of the town.
6:58 PM Selectmen closed the executive session with Edith making a motion to adjourn, Karen seconded and in roll call they voted to adjourn with Karen and Edith each saying “aye.”
