Town of Princeton, Mass. – Sept. 11, 2017 – 1 PM
Board of Selectmen – Goal-Setting Meeting

Present:  Chair Jon Fudeman, Richard Bisk, Edith Morgan plus TA Nina Nazarian.

1 PM   The chairman opened the meeting in Town Hall Annex. Jon F. asked each person for an introductory comment. Edith mentioned learning to work together as a team and taking on a stronger leadership role in the community—example was Code of Conduct. Nina mentioned priorities, and working together and set goals to have an effective outcome. Richy noted the work on cable TV and facilities and now wonders about capital planning, such as the proposed fire truck. He pointed out importance of seeing the bigger picture. Look at increasing public participation and police dept. community relations. Jon stated that the T.A. workload is most important. Board discussed working together and leadership.
        Nina distributed goal-setting documents from Sturbridge and Leicester. Edith suggested each member list out goals and then compare them, and Jon and Richy agreed.
        Richy listed: cable franchise; facilities; definition of long-range planning; Adv. Cmte. Review Cmte.
        Jon listed: operational review; citizen involvement.
Group will discuss operational review at the next BOS meeting and went over upcoming meeting dates and times.

3:03 PM Selectmen voted all in favor to adjourn.
