Executive Session Minutes - BOARD OF SELECTMEN
8:40 PM Selectmen took roll call vote in regular session and opened executive session. The Selectmen discussed the town administrator’s contract and read a summary of a phone conversation with Nina which Stan provided. It stated that Nina wants a replacement contract for three years and requests that her current $1,443 annual deferred compensation for her retirement benefits be increased to the maximum $5,000 limit, spaced over the three-year contract period. She also requested increasing her expense budget from $3,700 to $5,000 to cover additional professional seminars. Stan noted that Nina did not take the 2 percent increase for regular employees in FY’17 as allowed in her contract.
Selectmen voted all in favor to authorize the chairman to draft a replacement contract with the requests as stated in the memo.
8:45 PM Selectmen closed the executive session with Stan making a motion to adjourn, Jon seconded and in roll call vote they adjourned with Jon, Edith and Stan each saying “aye.”
