May 2, 2016 - Exec. Session

Town of Princeton, Mass. – May 2, 2016
Executive Session Minutes  -  BOARD OF SELECTMEN w/ Fieldstone Farm

Executive Session
6:05 PM  The three selectmen took roll call vote in regular session and opened executive session.
BOS discussed recent emails from Charlie Wyman who explained the opinion of the Hubbards, who have the APR rights to harvest the hayfields. They could deal with a wider access strip cutting into the side of the field, but preferred the 50’ access width. A similar opinion came from Michelle Padula at the APR program. They don’t want to give up any size strip of good soils. Since a lot about what the Town will use Parcel D for is unknown, the Board developed a position of being adamant that they required more flexibility with regard to the site and access (access width or land size). In light of the information which has developed over the course of the last few days, including the need to address the 10 additional acres of land and the potential uphill battle regarding an increased access width, the Board of Selectmen asked that Nina share its interest with the Fieldstone Farm working group to have all 20 acres granted to the Town, with the restriction that the Town will not develop more than 10 acres. The meeting on May 5 will include the Fieldstone group.

6:25 PM  Selectmen closed the executive session with Stan making a motion to adjourn, Jon seconded and in roll call vote they adjourned with Jon, Edith and Stan each saying “aye.”
