BOARD OF SELECTMEN – GOALS Mtg. Minutes
4:04 PM The meeting was called to order at Harrington Farm. Present were Chairman Edith Morgan, Jon Fudeman, Stan Moss and T.A. Nina Nazarian.
Board began discussions on goals for upcoming year. They reviewed the FY15 goals and developed the following goals, listed in no particular order.
Short Term Goals
- Finalize Facility Study recommendations and begin implementation planning; continue to address immediate facility issues.
- Continue implementation of town-owned fiber internet system.
- Prioritize implementing the Auditor’s recommendations, and support TA in building a strong financial team
- In general, training for all staff, as needed.
- Develop Capital Planning process.
Long Term Goals
- Support the Road Advisory Committee efforts.
- Continue to implement good financial practices (OPEB, etc).
- Town facilities/buildings renovations implementation.
- Dispose of unproductive Town-owned assets as market conditions dictate.
- Evaluate opportunities to regionalize municipal services as they appear.
- Staff succession & transition planning.
6:45 PM Selectmen voted all in favor to adjourn.
