The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM. Present were Chairman Edith Morgan, Neil Sulmasy, Stan Moss and Town Administrator John Lebeaux.
New Business
Sign ATM Warrant
The Board conducted its final review prior to signing. On a motion by Stan, seconded by Neil, the Board voted 3-0 to sign the May 14, 2014 Annual Town Meeting Warrant
Other Business
Stan asked John in advance of the meeting to report to the Board on stipends John receives for his mobile device and for any insurance coverage. John currently is billed $100 per month for his smartphone and is reimbursed at $80 per month. John receives 50% of the value of his private long-term disability insurance in the fixed annual amount of $710.78. He receives no life insurance or any other insurance contribution or coverage from the Town other than his health care.
The Board discussed and agreed that it wants John to be made whole for his phone expense as he is on call 24/7 and communicates regularly during off-hours on behalf of the Town. The Board also discussed and agreed that it wishes to annually fund the full annual premium of John’s long-term disability insurance in the amount of $1,421.56.
On a motion by Stan, seconded by Neil, the Board voted 3-0 to increase John’s annual media/computer/phone allowance to $1,200 and his Disability Insurance Allowance to $1,421.56, both to be paid in bi-weekly installments.
The Board voted 3-0 to adjourn at 5:40 PM.
