| Town of Princeton, MA BOARD OF SELECTMEN April 23, 2012 The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM in the Annex.  Present were, Edith Morgan, Stan Moss and Town Administrator John Lebeaux.  Chairman Raymond Dennehy was absent. 
 FY12 Warrant #22 The Board reviewed and signed the payroll and vendor warrants from the Treasurer and Accountant.  
 Minutes Regular Meeting- Stan moved to approve the minutes of April 9, 2012. Edie seconded. All in favor (2-0).  
 Scheduled Meetings & Hearings Police Sergeant Appointment Chief Powers recommended Officer Ricky Thebeau be promoted to the position of Sergeant. Ricky began his career in 1994 as a part time dispatcher and is now the senior patrol officer.   
 Stan moved to appoint Officer Ricky Thebeau to the position of Sergeant for a term effective from May 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015. Edie and Stan congratulated Sergeant Thebeau.  
 Old Business Thomas Prince School Green Repair Project John reported all is going well and within budget. 
 Thomas Prince School PCB Project A report is being prepared for EPA.  John believes PCB bills paid through the Green Repair Project may be accepted for the 52% reimbursement. 
 Review & Sign ATM Warrant John reported the Annual Town Meeting will be held on May 14. The warrant consists of twenty four articles; all were reviewed by the board.  John reported that Town insurance cost will increase up to $14,000. The total FY13 budget is $8,878,677 and amounts to 60% for education and 40% for government.  
 Stan moved to sign the May 15, 2012 Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Edie seconded. All in favor (2-0). 
 Nomination of Animal Inspector David Leach Stan moved to appoint David Leach as Animal Inspector for a term ending April 30, 2013. Edie seconded. All in favor (2-0). 
 New Business Sign Police Contract  John reported that the town and Police Officers Union came to an agreement for a 3% wage increase for FY12, FY13, and FY14.  
 Stan moved to sign the set of documents relative to the new police union contract from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2014. Edie seconded all in favor (2-0). The board signed the documents 
 Appointments Stan moved to appoint Rosemary Fudeman to the Board of Registrars for a term to expire on June 30, 2014. Edie seconded.  All in favor (2-0).  
 Cemetery Deeds Stan moved that Selectmen sell to John Minott, 103 Ball Hill Road., a two body lot in Woodlawn Cemetery known as Lot 10A, spaces a & b. Edie seconded.  All in favor (2-0).  
 Stan moved that Selectmen sell to David and Barbara Krashes, 106 Rhodes Road. a two body lot in Woodlawn Cemetery known as Lot 11D, spaces c & d.  Edie seconded.  All in favor (2-0).  
 Approve Multiple Sclerosis Fundraising & Bicycling Event Stan moved to approve the Wachusett Mountain Hill Climb subject to conditions stated by the Chief Powers and the ambulance service. Edie seconded.  All in favor (2-0).  
 Sign Contract for Mirick Road STRAP Grant Mass Highway sent a contract for the Grant to be signed by Raymond as Chairman.  Stan moved to authorize Chairman Dennehy to sign the contract for the Mirick Road STRAP grant.  Raymond will sign at the Town Hall. 
 
 Other Business Stan reported: The board received a letter from the Haine’s dog trainer indicating training is going very well. The Mechanics Hall clean-up crew worked hard on Saturday.
