BOARD OF SELECTMEN
October 19, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM in the Annex. Present were Chairman Raymond Dennehy, Edith Morgan, Stan Moss.
On a motion by Edie, seconded by Stan, the Board voted unanimously to move the meeting to the large room in Town Hall. Town Administrator John Lebeaux joined the meeting there.
Full-time Fire Chief Selection Process
John presented the Board a letter from the Full-time Fire Chief Screening Committee which contained its recommendation that the following individuals be considered by the Board to for the full-time Fire Chief position: Raymond A. LaPorte, Laurent R. McDonald, Robert J. Mignard and Paul E. Rekos.
The Board directed John to arrange interviews for the next BOS meeting, October 24. If any interviewee would not be available on that date, John would offer October 26 at 3:30-4:30 PM and November 1 and 2 at 5 PM.
The Board asked John to draft interview questions and send them to the Board prior to October 24.
The Board stated as its goals to select a candidate with whom to negotiate by November 7, and to have a full-time Fire Chief on the job by December 1.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:50 pm. All were in favor.
