Atty. Robert Betters, representing Petitioner, referred to his January 23, 2015 letter requesting a continuance. He stated the purpose for the continuance is to comply with the request of the Town for a peer review, which was not required during the initial assessment. He respectfully asked the Board to continue the case to March 4, 2015 at 7:45 p.m.

Attorney Robert Betters, representing Petitioner, provided a brief history of the project and amendments to the Bylaw regarding zones. He summarized the proposed Special Permit requests, and noted the location of the existing and proposed pylon signs. He provided specs for the new sign. He commented that this new sign will serve to identify the tenants that will occupy the back lots.

Melissa Arrighi, Town Manager, outlined request for the Special Permit and noted that the new Town Hall address will be 26 Court Street.
Martha Werenfels, Principal, Durkee, Brown, Viveiros & Werenfels Architects, provided brief history of their involvement with this project. She provided an explanation as to how they determined what needed to be provided for a new town hall. She discussed preservation and new construction on the site. She referred to schematic design phase plans and reviewed grades. She summarized the intent of the design for the gables and dormers. She reviewed parking, height variance, and building dimensions. She noted slope issue with the streets and sidewalks.
She articulated height dimensions from various points of building locations, and noted expansion limitations.
