Mr. Conner called the meeting to order and explained procedures for the evening. He further stated that the Board would only be considering the test tower as the wind turbines were withdrawn from the petition.
Mr. Peck was appointed as Acting Clerk until the Board has a replacement for Mr. Richard.
CASE NO. 3458 – MULCOR WIND, INC. – MOUNTAIN HILL ROAD

Attorney Betters, representing the petitioner, said that his client would like to erect a 199’ meteorological study tower. There are two parcels involved in this petition. The three wind turbines were eliminated from the petition. The maximum time allowed for the study tower is 18 months. The tower will gather information regarding wind generation in this area. No access needs to be cut in for this tower. There may be a small area of clearing. The Airport Commission requested that the tower be lit.
