MINUTES OF THE MEETING
November 30, 2009
Administrative Meeting
The Plymouth Conservation Commission held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Plymouth Town Hall, 11 Lincoln Street, Plymouth, MA 02360. Present were Evelyn Strawn, Chairperson, Gerre Hooker, Vice-Chairman and Commissioners James Aimone, David Foster, Brooke Monroe. John Scagliarini and Paul Withington. The Conservation Planner, Elizabeth Sullivan and the secretary, Michelle Turner, were also present.
No Public Hearings scheduled.

FRIDAY TOWN HALL CLOSED
New town hall hours were reviewed and the change of Conservation Commission meeting from Monday night to Tuesday night, effective on January 1, 2010 was discussed and agreed to.
Conservation staff had requested that consultant Lenore White of Wetland Strategies attend the meeting to aide the discussion for the recommended changes to the Bylaw and the Rules and Regulations (R and R’s). In 2006, the Commission hired Lenore White review and make recommended changes the R and R’s which, to date, have not been fully adopted.
This discussion continued from the report that Wetland Strategies had presented at that time. Discussion points were adoption of a 25 and 50 ft. no build/no disturb zone; vernal pool protection, flood zone reference changes. Discussion ensued over implementing the 25 and 50 foot zones and the commissioners were asked to come to a consensus for the next meeting.
Bylaw and R and R discussion ended at 8:30 PM
Herries Land Grant update
Location: Long Pond Road (old route) and Boot Pond Road converge.
Liz Sullivan gave the update on this grant and the Commission congratulated Liz as this was the first grant she had written.
