Notice of Meeting- Saw Mill River Parkway Construction Activity
ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. has been contracted by the New York State Department of Transportation to fully reconstruct two bridges located along the Saw Mill River Parkway (SMRP) in the Village of Pleasantville, NY.
The structures are located under the historic arch bridges at Bedford Road and Pleasantville Road and over the Saw Mill River. The historic arch bridges will not be impacted by the reconstruction.
Two detours will be implemented during the construction of this Project:
The Spring Nighttime Detour: April 3rd – July 1st (2016), 9pm—6am (Sunday night—Thursday night).
During the hours of 9PM to 6AM the SMRP will to be closed northbound at Marble Avenue and Southbound at Grant Street. Traffic will be detoured onto the Grant Street/Marble Avenue Corridor.
The Summer Detour: Will involve 21 consecutive days occurring between July 10th and August 26th (2016), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Traffic on the SMRP reduced to one lane in each direction, shifting into the two northbound lanes.
A General Public Information Meeting will be hosted by NYSDOT and ECCOIII Enterprises, Inc. and held on Monday, March 07, 2016 in the Village of Pleasantville Hall Board Room (80 Wheeler Avenue, 2nd Floor) from 7:00 pm‐8:30 pm to provide more information related to this project.
