Planning Board Meeting Minutes
June 17, 2014
1. Call to Order: The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
2. Attendance: Members present were, Chair- Dan Peaco, Vice Chair - David McVety, Beth Damon, Alternate - Stan Brett &Alternate - Rick Jackson. (Absent: Herb Olsen & Secretary -Karen Turino) *Motion to move SB and RJ up as voting members.
3. Announcement of Quorum: Board had a quorum
4. Approve Secretary’s Report:
A. Regular Meeting Minutes May 20, 2014 *Motion to accept minutes with edit. SB/DM – Unanimous.
B. Site Walk Minutes, May 13, 2014, Catania *Motion to accept minutes with edit. BD/SB – Unanimous.
C. Site Walk Minutes, May 20, 2014, Burkitt - *Motion to accept minutes. DM/SB – Unanimous.
5. Discussion & Comments from public:
A. None.
6. Residence - Based Business Applications:
A. Melissa M. McGuire DBA M&L Construction, Tax map R09 Lot 064. Applicant not in attendance. PB reviewed application and only concern is about the sign size “4 sq. ft. x 4 sq. ft.”. They are limited to 8 sq. ft. *Motion to accept application with the sign size altered to fit the size per our application. SB/BD – Unanimous.
7. Shoreland Zoning Applications:
A. None.
8. Site Plan Applications:
A. None.
9. Subdivision Application:
A. None.
10. Upcoming Dates:
A. Regular Planning Board Meeting July 15, 2014 at 7:00 PM.
11. Discussion & comments from Code Enforcement Officer: *Not in attendance
A. None.
12. Discussion & comments from Board:
A. At next PB Mtg, Board would like to discuss control over expansion on non-conforming structures with CEO.
B. DP is resigning from Board. His Term has ended and does not wish to renew it. He has been on for 12 ½ years and is ready to let someone else have a turn on the PB. Election of officers will be put on next PB mtg. Agenda.
13. Adjournment: With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM. BD/HO – Unanimous.
